How Our Network Works

Who You Talk To
You will talk to an independent local provider. Not a big company with a script, and not Biteunderground Pest Control acting as the contractor. Biteunderground Pest Control makes the introduction, and then the provider takes over.
Each provider in the network runs their own business. They set their own schedule, write their own quotes and stand behind their own work. That is how it should be for a job done inside your home.
What Happens on the Call
The first talk is simple. You describe what you have seen. Maybe it is droppings in a cabinet, scratching in the attic, or small wood dust near a window frame. The provider asks a few easy questions.
They may ask:
- Where did you notice it, and when?
- Is it indoors, outdoors or both?
- What type of home do you have, such as a slab or a raised foundation?
- Have you tried anything yet?
Then they explain the next step, often a visit to look things over and give you an estimate. Nobody should rush you.
What to Ask a Provider
Good questions make for good decisions. Here are some worth asking:
- Can I have the quote in writing?
- What exactly will be treated, and what will not?
- Are you licensed and insured for this work?
- Are the products safe for children and pets?
- What do you do to stop the problem returning?
- Is follow-up included, and how does it work?
A calm, clear answer is a good sign. If something sounds vague, ask again.
After the Work Is Done
Fixing the problem is only half the job. Ask what the provider suggests to keep pests away: sealing small gaps, trimming plants back from walls, fixing a leaky pipe or scheduling a checkup. These small habits protect your home and its value.
You Are in Control
Talking to a provider does not commit you to anything. You can ask questions, compare estimates and take time to think. You can say no.
Costs vary by job, so always get a written quote before you agree. If you have a policy that might help with sudden damage, check it, and ask the provider about documenting the damage.
